Known as Alex, his surname - Turok- descends from his fathers grandfather, who originated in Hungary before emigrating to the USA early in the 1900's.
Alex was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania before his family moved to San Antonio, Texas where Alex studied through high school and college.
Currently Alex plays with Galveston Pirate Soccer Club in the National Premier Soccer League in the South - South Central Conference. The NPSL is widely regarded as the fourth tier of soccer in the U.S, below MLS, NASL USL.
